Business delegation to Germany for Indonesian public and private stakeholders | 17 – 20 June 2024 | Stuttgart - Heilbronn - Munich 

 

Background: 

Energy storage is a key technology for the transition to a secure and renewable energy system in Germany. Storage technologies offer a solution for the integration of renewable energy from volatile sources. Storage technologies are currently being used worldwide in various areas, such as households, industry and commerce as well as system infrastructure. Combating climate change, new markets, less dependence on fossil fuels: mobility will be rethought in future. The development of electric mobility is a major forward-looking issue for the German industry. In fact, electric vehicles can become a key element of the energy transition. 

About initiative: 

Supported by the German Federal Ministry of Economy and Climate Protection (BMWK) and organized by Renewables Academy (RENAC) AG in cooperation with the German-Indonesian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (EKONID), this initiative intends to facilitate exchange knowledge between Indonesian and German experts also company representatives related to energy storage systems through a series of visit  in Stuttgart, Heilbronn, and Munich. 

The purpose of this roadshow series is to provide a comprehensive overview of the most recent technological developments in Germany as well as a starting point for Indonesian-German cooperation in the following areas: 

  • Energy storage
  • Energy solution 
  • EV Battery 
  • Battery recycling 
  • EV charging system 
  • EV charging station infrastructure  
  • EV charging equipment (charge controllers, touch panel displays, CPU (control systems), safety interlocks, AC-DC control modules, DC converters, cabling systems and sockets) 
  • Smart grid system

Target group: 

The application is accessible to all Indonesian state-owned and private companies, grid operators, ministries, public authorities, energy associations, and research institute. 

 

Participation fee and related costs: 

Participation is free of charge. The costs of organizing the business delegation's visits and transportation expenditures in Germany will be covered by the organizer. International travel expenditures, visa fees, individual accommodation and meal costs, and any other costs incurred by the individual will be borne by the participant.
