On May 3, EKONID successfully hosted the Deustches Spargelessen or White Asparagus Dinner at the Bali Room of Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, Jakarta. This annual event is held in honoring the German tradition of Spergalsaison or Spargelzeit (asparagus season), during which the vegetable is treated as a festive food. As many as 280 people gathered to celebrate this event.
