Invitation to Tender: Training and learning material on the entrepreneurial due diligence obligations in the supply chain according to German and Indonesia law

28.03.2022

In June 2021, the Bundestag and Bundesrat passed a Supply Chain Due Diligence Act with effect from 2023 for companies with more than 3,000 employees. From 2024, the law also obliges companies with over 1,000 employees to ensure that human rights are observed in their entire supply chain (own business area, direct and indirect suppliers). Affected parties can submit complaints about non-compliance with the duty of care to the Federal German Office of Economics and Export Control, which can impose sanctions in an emergency.

Due to the particular complexity of the supply chains in cross-border economic activities and the related questions of the effects of German law in relation to the Indonesian legal system, EKONID believes that there is an increased need for companies to be comprehensively informed, trained and advised. Companies need a compact, practical overview of their duties to be fulfilled, the bureaucratic effort involved and the scope of their liability. They also need information and recommendations for action to review and monitor their supply chains as well as the options for passing on obligations and transferring liability risks.

Based on this situation, EKONID/91大神 Indonesia is currently seeking a Contractor for Assistance in Developing Teaching/Training Material for the Due Diligence obligation in the Supply Chain Management Training.
