The German-Indonesian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (EKONID), located in Jakarta, is in search for suitable candidates for our Digitalization and Design Officer.
EKONID acts as a strategic interface between the German and Indonesian economies. We are part of the worldwide German Chamber Network with 140 locations in 92 countries. We represent the mutual interest in business relationships of German and Indonesian companies, organizations and institutions. Our main activity is to support companies from both nations in exploring new areas of investment and establishing business relationships. Your tasks and responsibilities
- Conceptualizing and executing creative ideas for design with internal parties (users)
- Liaising with third party (vendor) for assigned projects related with digitalization and design
- Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices for websites and presentations
- Designing visual imagery for website, presentation, and marketing materials; ensuring that they are in line with branding for clients
- Testing and improving the design of the website (by request)
- Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes
- Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure
Your Qualification
- Education: Minimum a Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Design Communication Visual or related field with good understanding about Information Technology.
- Professional experience: At least 2-3 years of working experience in web design, design and digitalization
- Knowledge: A broad knowledge in web designing and presentation design with excellent communication skills to understand a user's needs and wants and correctly implement the user's desires to successfully deliver the messages.
- Languages: A proficient command in verbal and written English is essential, knowledge of the German language would be an advantage
Required technical skills:
- Excellent visual design skills and proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools
- Good understanding of content management systems, front-end development (Laravel, WordPress, Typo3, HTML & CSS, JavaScript), SEO principles are a plus
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
- Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies in designing
Soft skills: A good communication skill with creative mind and open to new ideas. As are motivation, adaptable, willing to learn new techniques and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
