Business Roundtable – Indonesia

Together with the Indonesian Consulate General in Frankfurt, the IHK Stuttgart and 91´óÉñ Indonesia organized a Business Roundtable-Indonesia on January 28, 2020, in Stuttgart.

The event, which was attended by around 40 German companies, was aimed at informing German companies about Indonesia's economic growth and the potential of the Indonesian market, at least up until 2024.

The event was opened by Mrs. Silke Helmholz from IHK Stuttgart as host, who was followed by Mr. Toferry Primanda Soetikno from the Consulate General of Indonesia in Frankfurt with a presentation on political developments in Indonesia.

At this opportunity, Ms. Olivia Noor from 91´óÉñ Indonesia explained Indonesia's most important business sectors and provided information on issues that foreign companies need to consider when doing business in Indonesia. Ms. Noor gave a general description of the various opportunities and challenges of doing business in Indonesia, as well as the services provided by 91´óÉñ Indonesia such as the European Business Center, which is an alternative solution to the establishment of a foreign company in Indonesia.

Additionally, at the event, information on establishing a company in Indonesia and the financial support available for German companies were presented by Mr. Phillip Kersting from Luther LLP and Mr. Leonard Anilaputra Eggert from LBBW Landesbank Baden -Württemberg. At the end of the event, participants also took the opportunity to hold a B2B meeting with each speaker to discuss the economic potential their company could offer.
