At the Mercedes-Benz plant in Wanaherang in Bogor, West Java, the first C-Class of the new generation rolled off the production line. The assembly of the new C-Class for the Indonesian market has officially began.

With its integrated position, Mercedes-Benz Indonesia plays an important-role in the Mercedes-Benz network of local car assemblies with plants in Brazil, India, Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia. At these locations, Mercedes Benz produces vehicles in various extension levels for local markets. In the highly flexible production, Mercedes-Benz Plant Wanaherang is able to assemble six types of passenger cars: the C-Class, E-Class, S-Class Sedans as well as the GLC, GLE and GLS SUVs.
The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class: Highlights
The new C-Class embodies sportiness in connection with emotion and intelligence 鈥 a core goal of Mercedes-Benz branding strategy. Its appearance is particularly impressive due to the further development of its design with clearly drawn contours at the front and rear, new engine and the introduction of new technologies.
In addition, the new C-Class offers an update in active safety through the use of state-of-the-art driver assistance systems, such as the Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC. The new C-Class comes available with a fully digitised instrument display with the three visually different styles of "Classic", "Sport" and "Progressive". Furthermore, for the first time in this series, MULTIBEAM LED headlamps with ULTRA RANGE high beam have been made available, providing excellent visibility for every situation.
